Through the two previous links we can have access to the list of the swimmers classified in the more distinguished positions along the 49 editions of the Descenso celebrated until nowadays. The keys that precede the names identify those relevant positions according to the following references table:

However, two remarks should be taken into account:

• The relation of names that follow is no exhaustive so, looking for as much accuracy as possible, only includes the information of which documentary proof is available. The organization of the Descenso is aware of the possible omissions or mistakes (referred fundamentally to the local and provincial participations) that only the labour of recovering previous history will allow to correct. For this task we ask, once again, for the help of everybody interested in the Descenso or in the cultural and sports relevance that it entails in our social environment.
• Most of the specialised classifications were arising progresively along the Descenso's historical growing. Thus, if any of the references  C, D, E,... does not appear in the lists below, it could be because any of the two following reasons:
  • The related category did not exist in the corresponding venue (or no swimmer was classified in it);
  • Perhaps the category was convoked but, up to now, it has not been found releable info about its classification
